I purchased 3 large bags of candy at the beginning of October. I have maybe half of one bag left. HALF of ONE bag. HALF. And Halloween is tonight. It's not looking good for trick-or-treaters. Not good at all.
I had one of these:

It's gone.

There's half a bag left. Almost half.
Ok, yes, other people did help me but not nearly as much as I'd like to say they did. Because, for the most part, I ate that darn candy ALL BY MYSELF.
Am I ashamed? Yes. No. Maybe. But probably not. What I am is in need of candy to hand out to the kiddos.
And next year? I am NOT buying the candy early.
I'm not.
I mean it.
Anyway, check this little cutie out:
And that's not all. The lovelies are never too old to dress up for Halloween!
Teacher daughter, DoodleBug, had Mimi make her a dress to wear to school. DoodleBug teaches 1st grade and her kiddos LOVED the dress:
Then there was Breezy and her good friend who dressed as silent film stars:
Here's a color shot so y'all can see the make-up;
Breezy and Remster won first place at the costume contest. DoodleBug won first place with her students. And Baby M won first place with all of us!
And then there's Birdie (Baby M's mommy) who is wearing a tshirt Mimi made a few years ago:
And in Nashville, Deanie and DrummerBoy or should I say, Rocky and Aridan?
Are y'all dressing up and how's the Halloween candy holding out?
